This is a picture of the book S.O.S. Titanic
S.O.S. Titanic is a great book and is recomended for people ages 12 and up. The book starts out in Ireland where Barry O'Neil age 16 hops on the Titanic to go live with his parents in New York. Barry does not want to leave his grandparents in Ireland and go live with complete strangers in America. Barry finally gets on the ship and sails off to America. Of course later in the book the titanic sinks and many people die, but in the meantime you learn a lot about the history of the Titanic. This is a great book too rea if you would like to know a little more history about the Titanic.
The person who is hopefully going to make a 100 on his Summer reading project
The deck was tilting. Even the passengers who had'nt belived the titanic could sink were frantic with fear. Many of them had refused to climb into life boats. Now the life boats were gone. The doomed passengers rushed this way and that, searching for safety where there was none.
Barry pushed through the crowd, looking for Peegen Flynn, an her brothers, the Flynn boys. They had threatened to throw him overboard when thee trip began, but old hostilities meant nothing now. Pegeen and her brothers came from his village in Ireland, and now they were trapped behind gates, with the other steerage pasengers. He wouldn't let them die-not if he could get to them in time.
